There will only be a few warnings that you are walking down the wrong path.
These warnings will not be the loudness of the crowd.
You will have to listen very carefully to hear these warnings for
you will not be able to hear if you are shouting.
Our world does not shout at us.
Planet Earth It's Time to Heal
Inspiriting is not a "feel-good" moment which people enjoy and then soon forget. Inspiriting is sharing knowledge gained through changing the outcomes of hardships, showing we have the ability to affect these lasting effects into positive outcomes by choosing to be proactive, plan for of generational effects - not immediate effects, by choosing the unselfish outcomes - not the selfish outcomes.
Inspiriting is giving encouragement to releasing entitlements and complacency, to begin thinking outside our comfort zones that are imprisoned by fear, and standing firm in the work ahead that will keep Planet Earth alive, with us still within it.
We are not inspirited by our 'happy' feelings to change anything in our lives. These 'happy' feelings are simply enjoying our Selves, and then we let the moments go, often wondering where the happiness went after it has disappeared. We have come up with a thousand reasons why we cannot live in happiness.
None of them are true.
Rather, it is well known we humans grow complacent and entitled when wealth, comfort, and contentment are given existences within our culture. Our expectations of increasing these entitlements often results in our becoming enamored with these effects upon our Selves, and we become blind to the effects our actions have on others around us, and the world, because we justify those outcomes with our self-indulgences. It is not until we experience disastrous hardships, those periods of time of loss and destruction that become lessons learned and remembered, that do we effect lasting changes within our society. It has been well over three millennia since we have made such a change. Instead, we have survived by slowing killing our Selves and our world, basking in the comforts and pleasures offered by our continued practices that brought us to where we are today, those which we consider just rewards for our perseverance and determination to conquer each other and Nature.
For centuries, leaders of the world have talked about world peace while remaining divided and many societies have taught world peace is an idealistic and unattainable concept.
Yet, every day around us are reminders of the reality of our choice to not work towards world peace, to live in complacency of our disconnection with nature while demanding more instant gratifications.
The Canadian Wildfires of 2023 is one of these reminders.
Inspiriting is “to fill with strength of purpose; encourage; raising one’s confidence; lifting despondency by an infusion of fresh zeal; embolden to overcome reluctance; instilling life, energy, vigor” into someone or something.
It is here you will see the love you make creates a difference in the world …
Inspiriting is “to fill with strength of purpose; encourage; raising one’s confidence; lifting despondency by an infusion of fresh zeal; embolden to overcome reluctance; instilling life, energy, vigor” into someone or something.
That someone is you. That something is your life within this world.
This is Inspiriting Among the Clouds, learning to see the world and all living things within it, even the events we consider destructive and frightening, not as a threat to our status quo, but as the foundation, the reason, the creative source of our existence. This is learning to see the world as it truly is by simply changing your heart, changing your point of view, and changing your purpose.
Look at the effects of a recent natural disaster through the eyes of a unknowing witness and become inspired to change your future with a simple
"I can",
and begin to heal your mind, your life, your Planet Earth.
Our World of Peace is just on the other side of the choice you make every day.
It's time to heal our world and all, everyone, everything, within it.
Take a moment ...
Lift the haze from in front of your eyes.
Minnesota is only one of the places in the world which experienced the Butterfly Effect of Canada’s Wildfires that began in March 2023. These fires were later joined by the wildfires of Nova Scotia. By June 7, 2023, the smoke billowing up from Canada reached the United States, a heavy low cloud turning the skies brown with orange and amber as the sun was dimmed by its densness. It was so heavy over the United States that people were cautioned to wear masks while solar production in the Northeast and Midwest dropped by 50%. The smoke was so dense the sun was unable to fully break through the smoke – 50% loss of converted solar power which also means the plants, including our crops, were not doing so well during that time. Thankfully, this dimming effect did not last long, but now it is easier to imagine how an unnatural cloud could block the sun and have a dire effect around the world. It has happened before, resulting in mass extinctions.
Our world has experienced mass extinctions ... 5 times.
In the United States, 80 million people were under air quality alerts by June 27, 2023. Worldwide, the smoke reached Scandinavia, Iceland, Greenland, Azores, France, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom, thankfully not with the same dire air quality effects but still causing hazy skies. As of September 15, 2023, it is estimated that 42,897,039.546 acres (17359816 hectare) have been destroyed by the wildfires of Canada.
If you are like me that number is so large that you cannot fathom it.
The forests that burned includes not only the humans that died trying to stop it or being caught within its dangers, but also animals, including birds, plants, fungi and insects. Death does begins life – this is a natural cycle, but one that is larger than any recorded fires on record.
Why is so much of our world burning?
This fire is believed to have been exacerbated by an increasing amount of stagnant air which is an effect from rising global temperatures.
Before you sigh, think:
In order for air to flow around the world, there needs to be a vast difference in temperatures between the poles and the equator. As the poles warm up, the difference in temperature from the equator decreases, they become similar and so the flow of air decreases. Heat is captured in the land that once experienced winds.
Simple science.
Stand in front of your refrigerator and open the door. You will feel the cold air flowing out. Close the door quickly as this is wasting energy, another drain on the Planet, but apply that feeling to Canada. The wind was not there to move the heat.
Our actions carry the same level of effect on everything in this world. We do not see the effects as soon as we did with this natural disaster because we are like ants, slowing eating away at the inside of tree to make our home. The tree lives for centuries, growing around us, getting its nutrients and repairing where it can until one day, we have weakened a major support system. The tree shudders and we feel the vibration but being ants, oblivious to everything, but our world, we continue eating away.
Eventually, the tree experiences a natural hardship, a strong thunderstorm with high winds, and without its support, instead of bending and coming back, it bends and cracks apart, destroying our little ant home inside as it explodes.
This is our world.
We can change our world's path now that we are aware of our actions' consequences on our world.
You only need to be inspirited to make that one simple little change ...
Take a moment to see the skies of Minnesota as the clouds of smoke from Canada drift into this part of the world.
Take a moment to think about seeing this effect in years to come, not caused by nature, but from the work of our own hands because we did not want to listen to the warnings being given right now by the world itself.
Take a moment to think, not about what you will lose but what you will gain.
Is running away the answer?
Carry this to another world as some are working to do, already leaving trash in space?
Or is working together, full-heartedly on changing our current practices a viable solution for generations to come?
This is our Planet Earth.
What will you do for it, for us, for you?
Be inspirited to make that one simple little change ...
I CARE,
THEREFORE I CAN.
